New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will return to her restaurant roots this Friday, tending bar in the 14th Congressional District (location TBA) to raise support for a campaign to change how tipped employees are paid.
reprinted from 4/4: As you can see, The Plain Truth has reported from the get go that Mueller is a crook who tried to save himself from corruption charges by targeting a coup against Trump.
By Bob Barney
All the Trump supporters are high giving themselves about Barr's release of the Mueller report on the fake news story concerning Russian Collusion - which happened, but by Obama and Hillary Clinton. As I wrote 14 months ago, the Mueller report was an attempt by the deep state to undo an election and to stage a coup and oust Trump. Contrary to what peopler Trump think, as I predicted 14 months ago, the Mueller report will still be a "hit piece" on Trump. There is fake news on the Trump side as well, as people today have been blinded to the Plain Truth. By the way, the Bible predicted 2500 years ago that God would send a delusion on the people and they would start to believe lies, even nonsense lies.
On the web, there is something called "Q" or "Q-Anon," a completely BOGUS nonsenical set of conspiracy theories that many believers think is God. It's the opposite. It spews lies, like "Mueller is really a Trump supporter." We will see in a few more months.
In November 2017, a small-time YouTube video creator and two moderators of the 4chan website, one of the most extreme message boards on the internet, banded together and plucked out of obscurity an anonymous and cryptic post from the many conspiracy theories that populated the website's message board.
Over the next several months, they would create videos, a Reddit community, a business and an entire mythology based off the 4chan posts of “Q,” the pseudonym of a person claiming to be a high-ranking military officer. The theory they espoused would become Qanon, and it would eventually make its way from those message boards to national media stories and the rallies of President Donald Trump.
The original "Q" was a Trump hating liberal, who wanted to expose how stupid Trump supporters are. Unfortunately some Trump supporters are as ill-informed as the morons on the left. I blame Fox News for this. Fox, a darling of the conservatives, is actually run by a bunch of liberals, who allow so much nonsense on their airwaves, that many conservatives, who used to get their news from many sources, now only get it from Fox News, as liberals get theirs from MSNBC! The results, morons on the left and right.
The deep state is not defeated, nowhere close to being defeated, and Donald Trump's presidency is still on the brink of disaster. Much of the blame goes to Republicans- RINO's who wanted Hillary in the first place. Some goes to Trump's EGO, which, as God tells us, can be our undoing.
Donald Trump is NOT a Christian, but he is a friend to the Christians, as King Nebuchadnezzar was to the Jews. (Read the Book of Daniel sometimes - it will truly enlighten you!). Christians are right to understand that God put Trump in office to give this nation a few more years. Christians are wrong to worship Trump as some sort of Christian Holy Man.... He is not.
The Bible Tells us that The United States and Western Europe is going to collapse and be enslaved by a revived Holy Roman Empire ( read: The Number “13” and the United States! We are lost Israel! and America in Biblical Prophecy). This IS GOING TO HAPPEN. Trump, Like Ronald Reagan was put in office against all odds by God to protect His people from slavery to communism. Though delayed, God says eventually we will fall, because of our sins. We have become a lawless nation, that has turned our backs on God. There is still enough God fearing Americans praying for this nation to keep us from falling now. Let's continue to pray for this nation, for Donald Trump and start reading God's word, not a bunch of nonsense!
Economists expected growth of 3.0% in the first three months of 2019, a downward revision from 3.2% initially reported.

How do you know if what you believe is really true? Is it possible you have been influenced to believe things that are wrong? How can you replace faulty notions with true knowledge?
Although people do not realize it, they may embrace beliefs that are simply not true. How is that possible? It's because their views have been formed as a result of tradition, hearsay or information not based in fact or properly researched.
Furthermore, people will often adopt the beliefs of their family, group or religion with little or no question. If or when those positions are challenged, people will defend them even if their position doesn't match the facts.
Perhaps you are a Christian and feel you understand the seriousness of what Paul said. You also need to be aware that the apostles and Jesus Christ Himself repeatedly warned about counterfeit Christianity. They also warned of ministers who, being unwittingly motivated by the devil, would promote seriously flawed doctrines (Matthew 7:15; 2 Peter 2:1; 2 Corinthians 11:15).
These wrong teachings are often filled with half-truths. That means they appear reputable to many people, but they don't accurately reflect what the Bible teaches (John 17:17; Luke 4:4; 11:28).
Here are some conventional beliefs you need to look at, each followed by what the Bible actually teaches:
• Conventional doctrine: "Once saved, always saved," also known as "eternal security." Biblical truth: An individual can receive salvation from sins through Christ and still, through neglect, ultimately come to reject God, thereby losing salvation (2 Peter 2:21; Hebrews 2:1-3 ; Hebrews 6:4-8 ; Hebrews 10:26-38 ).
• Conventional doctrine: The reward for a good life is going to live as a disembodied consciousness in heaven at the time of death. Biblical truth: The dead are not conscious, and no one has ascended consciously to heaven following death except Jesus Christ—after He was resurrected from the dead (Ecclesiastes 9:5, Ecclesiastes 9:10; John 3:13; Acts 2:29, Acts 2:34).
• Conventional doctrine: You have an immortal soul. Biblical truth: You do not have an immortal soul. A soul can die, and again there is no consciousness in death. Death is compared in Scripture to a lifeless sleep from which people must be awakened in a resurrection (Ezekiel 18:4, Ezekiel 18:20; Ecclesiastes 9:5, Ecclesiastes 9:10; Daniel 12:2; 1 Corinthians 15:18).
• Conventional doctrine: Sunday is the Sabbath. Biblical truth: The seventh day of the week, Friday sunset to Saturday sunset, is God's Sabbath (Genesis 1:31
- Genesis 2:1-3 ; Exodus 20:8-10 ; Isaiah 58:13; Mark 2:28).
• Conventional doctrine: Jesus was crucified on a Friday and resurrected on Sunday morning, being dead for parts of three days. Biblical truth: Jesus was in the grave for three days and three nights, which cannot fit between Friday afternoon and Sunday morning (Matthew 12:39-40 ).
These are just a few examples of many long-established, conventional Christian teachings contrasted with true biblical understanding. Do you see why it's so important for you to thoroughly challenge what you read, hear and accept as truth?
Jesus Himself was the best example of challenging the status quo. His teachings and actions persuasively corrected accepted religious notions (Mark 1:22; Matthew 5:21-44 ). Jesus told His followers to carefully scrutinize what they were taught and to avoid following the wide, easy way that would lead to their destruction (Matthew 7:13).
The apostle Paul also encouraged people to "not be conformed to this world" but to "prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God" (Romans 12:2
). You also need to question your religious beliefs by honestly comparing them to scriptural truth (Acts 17:11).
True understanding comes from being willing to look outside traditional Christian teachings to what is actually written in the Bible (Isaiah 55:8-9 ; Isaiah 66:2; 1 Corinthians 1:19-21 ).
Of course it may be difficult to accept what you learn because you will have to unlearn deep-seated ways of thinking. Discovering that something you believe is wrong can, at first, make you feel uncomfortable. Admitting you have been wrong is one of the hardest things you will ever do. Nevertheless, if you sincerely desire to please your Creator and follow His way of life, you will strive to reject all error and love the truth (3 John 11; 1 Peter 1:22).
Readers of The Plain Truth are aware that the calendars that most Christian and Jewish Observers follow are wrong. God's calendar is perfect, and the same holidays fall exactly the same time each year. Today is the 50th day since the Feast of First Fruits (The last day of Passover Week). For Christians, Pentecost is a holiday on which we commemorate the coming of the Holy Spirit on the early followers of Jesus. Before the events of the first Pentecost, which came a few weeks after Jesus’ death and resurrection, there were followers of Jesus, but no movement that could be meaningfully called “the church.”
Thus, from an historical point of view, Pentecost is the day on which the church was started. This is also true from a spiritual perspective, since the Spirit brings the church into existence and enlivens it. Thus Pentecost is the church’s birthday.
Pentecost is actually the Christian version of the old Greek and Latin name for the Jewish Festival of Weeks (Hebrew חג השבועות Chag ha-Shavuot) which can be found in the Hebrew Bible. It is called by that name in Exodus 34:22 and Deuteronomy 16:10. It is also called the Festival of Reaping (Hebrew: חג הקציר, Chag ha-Katsir) in Exodus 23:16, and Day of the First Fruits (Hebrew יום הביכורים, Yom ha-Bikkurim) in Numbers 28:26. Jews traditionally read the Book of Ruth at Pentecost, as the story links with the grain harvest theme of the festival.
Pentecost. The Feast of Firstfruits. Feast of Weeks. There are many beautiful applications to this Feast. It symbolizes God’s first harvest of those called in this age, as a ‘kind of firstfruits.’ Christ is called the first of the firstfruits.
It represents a seven-week harvest period, the early harvest, and so is sometimes also referred to as the Feast of Weeks.
But the Holy Day we call Pentecost also has a deep significance to the law of God, both in the Old Testament and in the New.
Bob Kerrey, the former Nebraska senator and governor, was always one of my favorite politicians in part because his politics weren’t perfectly polished. Among other free-wheeling moments, he called fellow Democrat Bill Clinton an “uncommonly good liar” and said a requirement for becoming president is that you must “want it more than life itself.”
Kerrey moved on to academia and now to an investment bank, but hasn’t lost the willingness to break ranks with his party. The habit surfaces in a withering criticism of current Democrats, in which he says they are suffering from two major “delusions.”
“The first,” he writes in an op-ed in the Omaha World-Herald, “is that Americans long for a president who will ask us to pay more for the pleasure of increasing the role of the federal government in our lives.”

The European parliamentary election is the second-largest democratic exercise in the world after, with citizens across 28 nations voting for their new representatives. More than 400 million people are eligible to take part. Only India’s national elections are bigger.
The vote has major implications for the functioning of the bloc and the future of national politics in each member state. The EU Parliament has a say on policies affecting things such as agriculture and trade. It comprises 751 MEPs (members of the European Parliament).
The Bible predicts that Europe will be one of the last superpowers on earth, at the time of Christ's return. It will be led by the BEAST OF REVELATION, called the King of the North in Daniel chapter 11. We know it as the revised Holy Roman Empire, which receives it's power from anti-christ; the pope.

Kibitzing about a shortage of talent-based immigration visas is just Mr. Kushner channeling the business and tech lobby’s interests.
Alzheimer's disease could be treated with electric shocks to the brain that rescue memory in the early stages of the disease, according to new research. A study using electric shocks in epilepsy patients found that stimulating the area of the brain that processes language 'reliably and significantly' boosted patients' ability to remember words. This method of treatment has been successfully used for epilepsy sufferers in the past to quell seizures but now researchers have found that patients' memory improved by 15 percent when fitted with a skull cap that sent electromagnetic pulses to that specific part of the brain. The findings offer hope of a therapy to stop symptoms of the crippling brain disorder at its earliest stages for the 5.5 million Americans suffering from incurable Alzheimer's disease.
Researchers from the University of Pennsylvania conducted a study with 25 epilepsy patients who wore a skull cap fitted with electrodes that sent electromagnetic pulses to the lateral temporal cortex.
The new findings at Ebla are possibly the most significant discovery yet made so far as they relate to the background of early Bible times. The impact on some areas of Biblical knowledge will indeed be startling.
Where Ebla is Located … and the Work Begins
Tell Mardikh -- the ancient Ebla -- is on the main road to Aleppo in Northern Syria, being not quite half way between Hamath and Aleppo. It is nearer to Aleppo than to Hamath. There is a mound and a small village about one kilometer off the highway. Professor Paolo Matthiae of the Rome University has been excavating there since 1964, but his work was not spectacular until 1968 when his team produced a statue dedicated to the goddess Eshtar, and bearing the name of Ibbit-Lim, a king of Ebla. This endorsed the positive identification of the city. The kingdom of Ebla had previously been known in Sumerian, Akkadian and Egyptian texts, and the excavators had good clues when they began digging in this 50-feet high mound. Now their hopes were bright for the future.
The Pope’s pilgrimage to the Middle East was controversial because of the holy leader’s impromptu prayer session at the West Bank’s barrier.
And a playful religious disagreement also took place between Pope Francis and Israel’s prime minister, which revolved around Jesus’ linguistic skills.
Benjamin Netanyahu and the Pope had a small, good natured squabble about the language spoken by Jesus Christ.
Aramaic! Benjamin Netanyahu (left) and the Pope (right) had a small, humorous squabble (pictured) about the language spoken by Jesus Christ, with Israel's prime minister saying that the religious leader spoke Hebrew, while the Pope said Aramaic
Most Biblical scholars agree that Jesus and his disciples spoke Aramaic, which was the common language of Judea in the first century AD.
It is likely that Jesus spoke a local Galilean dialect and the towns of Nazareth was an Aramaic speaking community.
Despite the increasing importance of Greek, Aramaic was the dominant language among Jews in the Holy Land and across the Middle East until the Arab conquest in the seventh century.
Aramaic words frequently pop up in Biblical text, such as 'Abba, Father, ‘and place names including Gethsemane - the place where Jesus took his disciples to pray before his arrest - are thought to have an Aramaic root.
No-one really knows whether Jesus could write. Some experts believe he could speak Hebrew.
Opinion is divided as to whether the religious leader knew any Greek or Latin.
At a meeting in Jerusalem, Mr Netanyahu told the Pope: ’Jesus was here, in this land. He spoke Hebrew,’ in a bid to discuss the strong ties between Judaism and Christianity.
To which the smiling Pope corrected: ‘Aramaic. He spoke Aramaic, but he knew Hebrew.’
Most historians accept that Jesus existed, although the events of his life are far from concrete.
Dr Sebastian Brock, emeritus reader in Aramaic at Oxford University told BBC News that both leaders are correct.
Hebrew was the language of scholars and the scriptures, while Jesus would have used the Aramaic tongue for his everyday conversations, he explained.

What’s the difference between a Muslim who does atrocious acts of violence and a “Christian” who does similar despicable acts of evil? Simply this: When a Muslim kills a non-Muslim he is OBEYING the teachings of its founder Muhammad (“kill them wherever you find them”--Quran 2:191-193) as well as following in Muhammad’s footsteps (as he killed many who wouldn’t convert to his teachings). But when a “Christian” murders others he is DISOBEYING the teachings of the founder of Christianity Jesus Christ (“love your enemies”--Matt. 5:44), as well as NOT following in Christ’s footsteps (who instead of killing others, gave His life for others).
So when a Muslim murders nonbelievers, he is a TRUE & GENUINE & FAITHFUL Muslim, since this is what Muhammad both taught and did.
But when a “Christian” murders others he is a FALSE REPROBATE “Christian”, since this is in direct opposition to both what Jesus taught and did. And those people who do such atrocious deeds are NOT genuine Christians at all. They are just wicked people who simply call themselves “Christians.” That is, they are FALSE, COUNTERFEIT “Christians”!
Scientists from England are trying to preserve the language spoken by Jesus and tied to Hebrew and Arabic. The language is called Aramaic. Aramaic is one of the Semitic languages, an important group of languages known almost from the beginning of human history and including also Arabic, Hebrew, Ethiopic, and Akkadian (ancient Babylonian and Assyrian). It is particularly closely related to Hebrew, and was written in a variety of alphabetic scripts. (What is usually called "Hebrew" script is actually an Aramaic script.)
0ur first glimpse of Aramaic comes from a small number of ancient royal inscriptions from almost three thousand years ago (900-700 B.C.E.). Dedications to the gods, international treaties, and memorial stelae reveal to us the history of the first small Aramean kingdoms, in the territories of modern Syria and Southeast Turkey, living under the shadow of the rising Assyrian empire.
Professor of linguistics at the University of Cambridge, Geoffrey Khan, has begun a quest to record the ancient language that’s been around for three thousand years before it finally disappears.
Prime Minister Theresa May announced her resignation from outside 10 Downing Street Friday morning, stating she would be officially stepping down in two weeks time.

We live in a frantic, pressure-packed world full of trouble.
Everything seems to be happening at a faster pace than ever, and millions of Americans are now suffering from stress, anxiety and sometimes even depression because of it.
The news itself confirms it. A recent story from U.S. News and World Report blared the headline, "Stress Is Keeping Americans Up at Night."
It has the results of a survey by Bankrate.com indicating a stunning 69 percent of Americans say they occasionally lose sleep due to something they're worried about. Yes, about seven in every 10 people.
The top fret-maker for many people is relationships, with 41 percent in the survey saying it keeps them up at night. A close second at 36 percent was financial concerns preventing people from plunging into a good night's sleep.
After relationships and money concerns, 30 percent of people say work stresses them out, followed by 28 percent blaming health, and 14 percent indicating politics was causing their insomnia.
The research indicates issues surrounding the family are especially worrisome, as they're "the biggest source of stress among people who lose sleep because they're up thinking about their relationships."
