Nanotechnology is measured in billionths of a meter, encompassing all aspects of life from food to medicine, clothing, to space. Imagine hundreds of microcomputers on the width of a strand of hair programmed for specific tasks....in your body. Sound good?
Engineering at a molecular level may be a future corporations' dream come true, however, nano-particles inside your body have few long-term studies especially when linked to health issues. Despite this new huge income-generating field there is a growing body of toxicological information suggesting that nanotechnology when consumed can cause brain damage (as shown in largemouth bass), and therefore should undergo a full safety assessment.
It is possible for nano-particles to slip through the skin, suggestive of a potential unnatural interaction with the immune system, or when micro particles enter the blood-stream. Some sunscreens on the shelf today, for instance, have nano-particles that might be able to penetrate the skin, move between organs, with unknown health effects. Nano-particles in cosmetics have few regulations done by FDA.
Planetary scientists are looking to asteroids as the source of Earth’s water – not from evidence, but from desperation.
The Bible’s book of Genesis describes Earth covered with water from its creation. Not so, say the secular evolutionists: Earth began as a hot, dry, rocky body spewing volcanoes and facing a bombardment of space debris. Problem: why is it covered with water today? Even though the oceans are a relatively thin veneer on the globe, making up about 1% of Earth’s mass, their prominence is one of the defining characteristics of our “water planet.”
There have been three suggestions to answer the “H2O Enigma” (see 3/26/2002): a lucky strike by a big wet planetesimal, condensation from the solar nebula, and comets. The first two hypotheses are pretty much defunct, leaving comets. But for the last several years, secular planetary scientists have doubted that comets brought the water (see 11/03/2009), primarily because the hydrogen-to-deuterium ratio in cometary ice differs substantially from Earth water. (Deuterium abundance is thought to increase with distance from the sun.) In addition, direct observation of comets by Stardust and Deep Impact have shattered theories about their origins (12/27/2007, 9/24/2008, 4/18/2011).
As Space.com reported recently, it’s unlikely scientists can retreat back to condensation from the local solar nebula. The so-called “snow line” in planet formation theory is now thought to be even farther out than previously believed. Earth started out dry. Volatiles like water had to come special delivery.
Taking all the difficulties into account, NASA’s Astrobiology Magazine considered one last option: asteroids. In ” Meteorites Most Likely Source of Earth’s Water,” NASA pointed to work by Carnegie Institute scientists who believe water-bearing carbonaceous chondrites, with their lower deuterium ratios, could have been the delivery vehicles. Because the deuterium ratio is lower, they might have formed in the asteroid belt….

A federal court in Washington, DC, held last week that political appointees appointed by President Obama did interfere with the Department of Justice’s prosecution of the New Black Panther Party.
The ruling came as part of a motion by the conservative legal watch dog group Judicial Watch, who had sued the DOJ in federal court to enforce a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for documents pertaining to the the New Black Panthers case. Judicial Watch had secured many previously unavailable documents through their suit against DOJ and were now suing for attorneys’ fees.

Coming to America (300 million population)? You betcha! Get prepared!
Northern India's power grid crashed Monday, halting trains, forcing hospitals and airports onto backup power and providing a dark reminder of the nation's inability to feed a growing hunger for energy as it strives to become an economic power.
While the midsummer outage was unique in its reach - it hit 370 million people, more than the population of the United States and Canada combined - its impact was softened by Indians' familiarity with almost daily blackouts of varying duration. Hospitals and major businesses have backup generators that seamlessly kick in during power cuts, and upscale homes are hooked to backup systems powered by truck batteries.

What would have happened if the Apollo 11 crew had been unable to take off again from the lunar surface ?
The historic Apollo 11 moon landing was a risky business, when Armstrong and Aldrin landed on the surface there was no guarantee that they would be able to lift off again. While engineers did everything in their power to make the craft as reliable as possible there was still a chance that the two men would have ended up stranded there.
Because of this risk, both NASA and President Nixon had a contingency plan in place if the worst were to happen. Fellow orbiting astronaut Michael Collins would have been ordered to return to Earth alone, while Nixon would have made a special announcement in tribute to Armstrong and Aldrin. NASA would have kept in contact with them until the very end and a clergyman would have spoken to them over the radio, commending their souls to the deep.
Fortunately however this plan was never needed, to date every astronaut NASA ever sent to the moon returned alive and well at the end of the mission.
Ascending from the lunar surface was one of the most important maneuvers on the mission; any problems could leave Aldrin and Armstrong stranded on the moon with no way home. It was a gruesome scenario, but not impossible. In the unlikely event this lunar disaster did happen, NASA had a plan in place.
Is it the end of the super steely era? Ford is reportedly mulling over a decision to use aluminum panels in its F-150pickup trucks, which have utilized steel panels since the vehicle's birth decades ago. The company has already moved toward technology that helps its vehicles save on gas, and this aluminum move is yet another, as it will cut 700 pounds out of the pickup. That's a lot less truck to move.
The Associated Press says the change will happen with the F-150s appearing on the market in July 2014. It's a big move, as the pickups are Ford's cash cow and the top-selling vehicle in the U.S. for 30 years. Not to mention Ford's a widespread and devoted customer base which could be resistant to any more big changes in the beloved vehicles.

When NBC first announced it would offer free live streaming to all of the London 2012 Olympic Games, a lot of people were delighted that they would finally not be stuck having to wait until the network's oft-derided prime-time broadcast coverage just to see the results of events that were already spoiled to most folks with an Internet connection. And yet, even with the live feeds, NBC has managed to piss off an awful lot of viewers. More »
For the next millennium, Greeks gathered every four years in Olympia to honor Zeus through sports, sacrifices and hymns. The five-day festival brought the Greek world together in devotion to one deity.
What began in ancient Greece as a festival to honor a single god, Zeus, has now become an almost Olympian task, as organizers of the games navigate dozens of sacred fasts, religious rituals and holy days.
The London Olympics will try to accommodate religious athletes with 193 chaplains, a prayer room in every venue and a multifaith center in the Olympic Village.
Athletes at the ancient Olympics believed their training honored the gods, and victory was a sign of favor from a deity. As contests like wrestling, boxing, and horse racing were added to the Olympic roster, they supplemented devotional sacrifices, hymns, and ceremonies.
“The idea was that you were training to please Zeus. But part of the festival would be to visit the temple, visit the cult statues, making offerings, celebrating and seeing your family,” said David Gilman Romano, a professor of Greek archaeology at the University of Arizona.
It’s not easy to leave Islam in a Muslim country. It can put one’s freedom and very life at risk.
But thousands are doing it, according to a new book by Jerry Trousdale, director of international ministries for City Team International. In fact, he writes in “Miraculous Movements: How Hundreds of Thousands of Muslims Are Falling in Love With Jesus,” some 200,000 Muslims have converted to Christianity in just the last six years. And they include sheiks, imams, Muslim leaders and ordinary devotees of the faith.
Created 3,200 years ago by Hittites who controlled vast empire in region of modern Turkey
(LiveScience) Two sculptures of life-size lions, each weighing about 5 tons in antiquity, have been discovered in what is now Turkey, with archaeologists perplexed over what the granite cats were used for.
One idea is that the statues, created between 1400 and 1200 B.C., were meant to be part of a monument for a sacred water spring, the researchers said.
The lifelike lions were created by the Hittites who controlled a vast empire in the region at a time when the Asiatic lion roamed the foothills of Turkey.
“The lions are prowling forward, their heads slightly lowered; the tops of their heads are barely higher than the napes,” write Geoffrey Summers, of the Middle East Technical University, and researcher Erol Özen in an article published in the most recent edition of the American Journal of Archaeology.

'The Debate' It is understandable that Israel, being of holy significance to 3 major religions (Judaism, Christianity and Islam) and being one of the most fought-over and conquered pieces of land in the history of mankind, will spark a monsoon of debate, as to who owns what. But, the fact remains that the capital of Israel is proclaimed by the Israeli government and this capital is Jerusalem.
All major encyclopedias and dictionaries list Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Columbia, Britannica, World Book, Merriam-Webster, Random House, American Heritage- to name a few...
What About the city of Tel Aviv? The CIA World Factbook, published by the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency has written: "Israel proclaimed Jerusalem as its capital in 1950, but the U.S., like nearly all other countries, maintains its embassy in Tel Aviv."
Not laid to rest: Charles Zigler's girlfriend kept his body in her house for 18 months so he could continue watching NASCAR with her
A woman said she kept the dead body of her boyfriend in a chair in their southern Michigan house for more than 18 months so she could have a partner for watching NASCAR races on TV.
Linda Chase, 72, said she kept the remains of Charles Zigler clean and dressed. She often talked to the body, especially when she watched auto racing.
'It’s not that I’m heartless... I didn’t want to be alone. He was the only guy who was ever nice to me,' Ms Chase said.
Jackson, Michigan, police discovered Zigler’s mummified body in a living room chair last week. Authorities believe he died of natural causes at age 67 in December 2010, although Chase claimed it was last December. She said there wasn’t a bad smell.
Ms Chase has not been arrested but is being investigated for financial fraud. She admits cashing Zigler’s benefit checks after his death.
The economic crisis that is sweeping Europe is starting to hit Britain really hard. Over the last couple of years economists have been warning that we can't let the "contagion" spread from troubled nations such as Greece and Portugal to the rest of Europe. Well, it is too late for that now. Spain and Italy are coming apart at the seams at this point, and even "stronger" nations such as the UK and France appear to be deeply troubled.
According to numbers that were released just this week, the UK economy has now contracted for three quarters in a row. During the second quarter of 2012, the UK economy shrunk by 0.7 percent. That was a much larger contraction than the 0.2 percent contraction that economists were forecasting. At this point we have got a definite trend going. During the fourth quarter of 2011, the UK economy shrunk by 0.4 percent. During the first quarter of 2012, the UK economy shrunk by 0.3 percent. And now in this latest quarter the contraction of the UK economy appears to be accelerating.
This economic downturn in the UK is being called "the longest double-dip recession for more than 50 years". So will Britain soon look like Greece and Spain and Italy or will it be able to pull out of this nosedive in time?
An abandoned newborn baby is recovering in hospital after having her throat cut, being put in a plastic bag and thrown into a garbage bin in China's Liaoning province.
The female baby - so newborn that her placenta and umbilical cord were still attached - was discovered by a man who was searching a bin for recyclables.
Local residents called police and the tiny girl was taken to hospital, where she remains in a critical condition.
A resident who witnessed the girl being taken to hospital said: 'She was still breathing and had a heartbeat. Blood from the wound stained the whole body.'
Doctors worked to close a two-inch wound across her neck, so deep that it went down to her windpipe.
Throat cut: The plight of the unnamed baby has horrified China, despite the incidence of 'guilt children' being abandoned in the nation is still high
A doctor at the hospital said that had the cut been any deeper at all 'she would have died instantly'.
The girl was found in Anshan city, in northeast China.
She is believed to be a victim of the country's notorious one child policy - and seems to confirm the long-held belief that parents upon which this restriction is imposed prefer boys.
Infanticide of 'guilt children' is still a problem in rural areas but it is rare in cities, where children are usually abandoned but not killed.
The baby's fate has horrified China. The girl, who is yet to be named, was spotted when a collectibles scavenger saw what he thought was a dead baby in a bag.
He told police that the child was purple and had not moved until he examined the bag more closely – not convinced that it was a real baby.
Doctors said that baby had been born premature and was probably between 32 and 34 weeks old, weighing just three pounds. Medics said that once the baby had recovered it would be put in a children's home. MORE>>>>>>>>>>>
“Domestically, they're pulling together all the data about virtually every U.S. citizen in the country and assembling that information, building communities that you have relationships with, and knowledge about you; what your activities are; what you're doing. So the government is accumulating that kind of information about every individual person and it's a very dangerous process,”
The TSA, DHS and countless other security agencies have been established to keep America safe from terrorist attacks in post-9/11 America. How far beyond that does the feds’ reach really go, though?
The attacks September 11, 2001, were instrumental in enabling the US government to establish counterterrorism agencies to prevent future tragedies. Some officials say that they haven’t stopped there, though, and are spying on everyone in America — all in the name of national security.
Testimonies delivered in recent weeks by former employees of the National Security Agency suggest that the US government is granting itself surveillance powers far beyond what most Americans consider the proper role of the federal government.
In an interview broadcast on Current TV’s “Viewpoint” program on Monday, former NSA Technical Director William Binney commented on the government’s policy of blanket surveillance, alongside colleagues Thomas Drake and Kirk Wiebe, the agency's respective former Senior Official and Senior Analyst.
The black president, only for black America, once again shows his racists policies. The George Jefferson in the White House!
President Barack Obama is creating a new office to bolster education of African-American students.
The White House says the office will coordinate the work of communities and federal agencies to ensure that African-American youngsters are better prepared for high school, college and career.
In one of the most shocking articles that the New York Times has ever put out, a New York Times reporter has openly admitted that virtually every major mainstream news organization allows government bureaucrats and campaign officials to censor their stories.
For example, almost every major news organization in the country has agreed to submit virtually all quotes from anyone involved in the Obama campaign or the Romney campaign to gatekeepers for "quote approval" before they will be published.
If the gatekeeper in the Obama campaign does not want a certain quote to get out, the American people will not see it, and the same thing applies to the Romney campaign. The goal is to keep the campaigns as "on message" as possible and to avoid gaffes at all cost.
But this kind of thing is not just happening with political campaigns.
The very atmosphere of firearms anywhere and everywhere restrains evil interference. They deserve a place of honor with all that is good. When firearms go, all goes. We need them every hour. -- George Washington, Founding Father in his address to the 2nd session of united States Congress.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and survivors of the Aurora, Colorado shooting as well as to their families and the brave first-responders.
Such a senseless tragedy leaves us all saddened and speechless for a brief moment . . . but then inevitably we find ourselves being drawn into the national debate over gun control. The timing of the shootings combined with the rabid media attention has seemingly diverted national attention from President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder’s Fast and Furious debacle, as well as the upcoming United Nations Gun Treaty vote in two weeks -- both of which are blatant attempts to restrict our God-given rights to bear arms.
Thomas Jefferson, himself a liberal in the truest sense of the definition, stated,"The strongest reason for people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government."
Now contrast that to what New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who has made a career calling for stricter national gun laws, stated . . .
Sources confirm North Korea has eased or lifted a number of restrictions for citizens since Kim Jong Un succeeded his father, Kim Jong Il.
Kim Jong Il’s tenure as dictator was marked by intense persecution of Christians, including imprisonment of generations of a family for a single individual’s offense and executions. Bans have been lifted on Western foods such as pizza and french fries, and restrictions on the number of cell phones have been loosened, for example, according to Ryan Morgan, and analyst with International Christian Concern Asia.
It happened again! Obama while in Aurora Colorado, addressing the nation on the theatre shootings was pestered yet again by a fly! The darn thing just would not leave him alone! I have named him "The Lord of the Flies," a biblical term for one who comes in the form and nature of Satan.
Beelzebub is derived from the ancient Semitic Ba‘al Z bûb, in Hebrew Ba‘al Z bûb means "Lord of the Flies" (ba‘al being Hebrew for "lord, master, owner" and z bûb being a Hebrew collective noun for "fly"). In Arabic the name is retained as Ba‘al HaZvuv or Ba‘al Azabab again literally "Lord of the Flies". The Septuagint renders the name as “Baalzebub” and as “Baal muian” or Baal of flies. In Greek it is “Beelzeboub” in Latin it is “Beelzebu-b”, Jerome read and translated the name into Latin, as "Dominus muscarum", all these names translate into English as "Lord of the Flies".
The name Baal-zebub is mentioned four times in the Old Testament book 2 Kings 1: 2-3,6,16
2 Kings 1:2-16 (New American Standard Bible)
“2And Ahaziah fell through the lattice in his upper chamber which was in Samaria, and became ill. So he sent messengers and said to them, "Go, inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron, whether I will recover from this sickness."
“3But the angel of the LORD said to Elijah the Tishbite, "Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria and say to them, 'Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are going to inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron?'
“6They said to him, "A man came up to meet us and said to us, 'Go, return to the king who sent you and say to him, "Thus says the LORD, 'Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are sending to inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron? Therefore you shall not come down from the bed where you have gone up, but shall surely die.”
“16Then he said to him, "Thus says the LORD, 'Because you have sent messengers to inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron--is it because there is no God in Israel to inquire of His word?--therefore you shall not come down from the bed where you have gone up, but shall surely die.”
The ancient Philistines lived about 25 miles from Jerusalem, and at the time of 2 Kings, they were the great enemy of all Israelites. Philistine origins are traced back to the descendants of Ham, the son of Noah. Ham is the father of the black race. They conquered the local Canaanite western-Semitic speaking population of the coast, and together the conquered people and the invaders created a blended, west-Semitic speaking culture that we now refer to as Philistine, we have no idea what name the Philistines called themselves.
Nothing is known for certain about the original language of the invading tribes that later became the Philistines. There is some evidence in favor of the assumption that they originally spoke an Indo-European language. A number of Philistine-related words found in the Bible are not Semitic, and can in some cases, with reservations, be traced back to Proto-Indo-European roots.
Enough of the history, here is, in my opinion, some videos of God Almighty showing us a "sign" concerning Barack Obama and his role on earth!

The country has had a weekend for the tragic Aurora, Colo., shooting to sink in. During that time, many have probably gone from shock, to anger, to grief, and several other stages. Some are also contemplating the lessons that can be learned. The editor-in-chief of SOFREP (the Special Operations Forces Report) is one who has considered the latter, and he has felt compelled to share “some lessons” from his time as a Navy SEAL that he “can pass on to the average citizen.” In other words, he has some advice for people going forward that could help protect you should you ever find yourself in such a situation.
Brandon Webb, who was apart of the Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL Class 215, told TheBlaze that he, like many, was “angry that this sick individual could just stroll into this theater and open fire on innocent, unsuspecting people.”
However sickened Webb was by the news, while flying to New York and contemplating the events, advice “just poured out” of him about how to react — as much as possible — in dangerous situations.
“I wanted to do something to help that could possibly better prepare people in the future,” Webb said. “Having any plan in place will better prepare people …”
In a blog post, Webb first offers advice on how to lower your profile as a target should you find yourself in such a horrific event. He writes that one can achieve this at public venues by choosing seats that would allow for a “hasty exit.” For example, Webb states that he “still combat [parks] (backs into a space) and [sits] with my back to the wall when I’m eating.”
