Do you think names mean anything? Does your name represent anything? It is probably difficult for most of us to understand today, but God says that names denote things. In the Bible, names given to people usually signify something about them, their character or their importance. Adam, for example, means red dirt or clay. You see the LORD GOD made Adam out of red clay and wanted him to understand just where he came from every day of his life. God wanted to make sure that Adam understood that although he was made in the image of God, he was still just dirt, and would be until the resurrection. ABRAHAM means "father of many," which ended up being the case, while David means beloved. The name Jacob stood for "deceiver" and deceiver, he was, he stole by deception his brother's birthright. Later God renamed him ISRAEL, which meant that he struggled with God and won. Yes, God says names have a meaning, and now the point of this essay.
If the president were to say that he wanted someone to watch over, say the automobile industry, and he was to appoint someone and call him the "auto Hitler", or for energy, the "energy Hitler," do you think that someone might have a problem with the name "Hitler?" So you see, in this example, you must admit names mean something, right? Well how about the name "energy czar" or "border czar?" We hear these names every day, as the newspapers and media talk about "czars" being named. President Johnson appointed a "poverty czar" in 1964, President Reagan appointed a "drug czar" in 1982, President Clinton appointed a "terrorism czar" in 1998, and President Bush appointed a "war czar" in 2007. Furthermore, as lawmakers wrangle over how much the government should intervene in the failing auto industry, there’s been talk of appointing a "car czar" to authorize loans and set benchmarks for progress. What would the media say if we made a "car Hitler" instead?
I know that you think you know what czar really means, but I bet most of you do not! Yes, Russians had czars, or kings that ruled over the nation for hundreds of years until the Russian Revolution when Czar Nicholas was deposed by the communist. However, do you know where the word comes from? I will give you a hint, and here will be, as Paul Harvey would say, the rest of the story. The German name for king is Kaiser; Like Kaiser Wilhelm of Germany during WWI. Both Czar and Kaiser are different forms af another name. Both names come from Caesar!
Czar \Czar\ (z["a]r), n. [Russ. tsare,stare,More... fr. L. Caesar C[ae]sar; cf. OPol.Add as name More... czar,Czar, Pol. car. ] A king; a chief; the title of the emperor of Russia. Written also tzarstarMore...
Kaiser \Kai"ser\, n. [Gr., fr. L. Caesar. Cf. Kesar,Add as nameMore... and Czar.] The ancient title of emperors of Germany assumed by King William of Prussia when crowned sovereign of the new German empire in 1871. source:
Czar means Caesar! Who was Caesar? The first Caesar was Julius, we all know about him and Cleopatra. Then his son Augutus, the month of August is named for him. Gaius Caligula was also a Caesar, as well as Nero. The last two being two of the most perverse people who have ever lived!
Gaius Julius Caesar Augustus Germanicus ( 31 August 12 – 24 January 41), more commonly known as just Caligula, who was the third Roman Emperor, reigning from 16 March 37 until his assassination on 24 January 41. To say the least, he was known for his cruelty, extravagance, and sexual perversity, presenting him as an insane tyrant. He loved little boys and killing his sexual partners.
Nero Caesar was the fifth and final Roman emperor of the Julio-Claudian dynasty. Nero was adopted by his great uncle Claudius to become heir to the throne. As Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, he succeeded to the throne on 13 October 54, following Claudius's death. Nero's rule is often associated with tyranny and extravagance. Some will suggest that the book of Revelation was written only for those living at the time, and that 666 most probably apply to Cæsar Nero, who ruled Rome from 54 to 68 A.D., rather than someone from later centuries. This point of view, which suggests Revelation had an immediate application to the first century, is known as preterism. So, just how is Nero linked to 666?
Preterists take Nero's name, Nero Cæsar and transliterate the Latin into Hebrew. An "n" is added to conform with the Hebrew spelling and usage of Nero's name, in a manner similar to the Greek adding a "s" (i.e., Jeremias, Jonas, etc.). Other names in scripture where the adding of ana "n" may be seen are Abaddon, Apollyon, and Armageddon. Once Hebraicized, the Latin Nero Caesar becomes "nrwn qsr," which when using the numeric equivalent of the letters, then adds up to 666 as follows: Nun = 50 Resh = 200 Waw = 6 Nun = 50
Qoph = 100 Samech = 60 Resh = 200
So, possibly the greatest tyrant to ever rule, maybe the man who God warns was the great antichrist, was a Caesar! Therefore, what's in a name I ask again? Millions of Americans would be outraged if we so carelessly used the name Hitler in a title, but the man who slaughtered thousands of Christians, an enemy of Jesus Christ, can be now remembered as the person whose name America now uses for our rulers! WAKE UP and realize that many of the things that we do and take for granted today, are planted by the spirit of Satan, and that we are literally spitting on the blood of our savior when we use such names! Names mean things. God warns us through names, when you see CZAR in front of someone's name, BEWARE. When a man has a name, or two names of our enemy in their own name, maybe God caused that to be as a warning! God is talking to us everyday, are you listening?
We like our readers to be informed and educated. This is why we often run the "Why we do what we do series" to show the Plain Truth behind some of the things that we do, like our expose on the real meaning of Easter, or Halloween or even seemingly innocent things like St Valentines day. Today we are looking at EARTH DAY. To most, the day represents the celebration of earth, an our efforts to keep it clean and green. Most educated people understand that it was started back in the liberal early 70's, but most do not understand that what you are really celebrating today is COMMUNISM! You see, liberalism is COMMUNISM, and dogmas of Evolution, Global Warming and yes, even Earth Day is just merely a disguised orgy with communism.......Read the story
The Plain Truth has predicted that Japan is going to re-arm, which will not be good for world peace in the long run. The Bible predicts that as America (the real Israel of the Bible) is going to lose her strength and power and new super powers are going to arise, namely Europe and a Muslim King of the South. China and Japan will also be prominent ...
A senior Japanese politician has called for Japan to discuss allowing nuclear weapons within its pacifist constitution.
Nakagawa, former finance minister, suggested that Japan should examine

Editor's note: The Plain Truth strives to give our readers stories, written in main stream news sources concerning Biblical themes. Many may not realize this, but there are countless stories that many early Christians, including Mary, the mother of Jesus lived in the British isles. These are not figments of our imagination, but you should wonder why these views have been swept from our education!
Little is written in the Christian gospels about Joseph of
Arimathea, a rich Jewish merchant who provided the prepared tomb for
Jesus. But the apocrypha (gospels and other writings not included in
the Bible as Christians know it today, but written at the same time as
that which is included) and tradition suggest he was far more important
to Jesus in both life and death than most people imagine.
tradition also suggests that Joseph of Arimathea was instrumental in
establishing the followers of Christ in England, and may, indeed, have
introduced the young Jesus to druidic mystical writings on a visit to
Cornwall when Jesus was a boy. (Druidic magical beliefs are usually
attributed to Ireland, but England had them as well.) If it seems
difficult to credit, consider this: Although tradition says Jesus was a
lowly carpenter’s son, Joseph (father of Jesus) was of the royal House
of David, which was not impoverished and did raise its sons to be as
well educated as possible.
While moderns think of each area of the
ancient world as cut off from the others, that is not true. Trade was
vigorous all around the Mediterranean, and along the Atlantic cost of
Europe as far as Britain, at least. The Milesians, who settled in
Ireland, sailed from the coast of Spain, having settled there after
leaving central Turkey. So, commerce and doubtless intellectual
discourse was certainly a feature of ancient life moderns forget about.
Joseph of Arimathea is thought to have gained his wealth in the metals
trade. As it happens, Cornwall, on the southwestern coast of England,
has been a rich source of tin, lead and some silver for millennia. So
it is not inconceivable that, as Carl McColman points out in his Complete Idiot’s Guide to Celtic Wisdom,
Joseph of Arimathea took Jesus with him on a trip so the boy might
study with great minds. This concept is also accepted as a possibility
by Britannia, a venerable (as Internet goes) travel site for England.
Whether that is true or not, it is much more firmly grounded in
tradition--even in the Church of England--that Joseph did round Land’s
End, Cornwall, in 63 C.E. (although some say it was sooner after Jesus’
death, in 37 C.E.) and end up at Glastonbury, which corresponds to the
Avalon of Arthurian legend. Supposedly, he had with him the chalice
from the Last Supper, which was supposed to have been placed in the
ground there, from whence a well sprang. He is supposed to have jammed
his staff into the ground, bringing forth an oriental thorn bush.
What Is Faith? From the booklet What Is Faith? by Herbert W. Armstrong 1952
The whole world is now shaking with convulsions, preparatory to a tremendous event. This present world breakdown, with world economic collapse, social unrest, religious confusion, is merely the warning signal that the end of the present civilization is here. The Second Coming of Christ to establish a new order of world peace on Earth is near—much nearer than people think! Any Faith Today?
And speaking of His own second appearance on Earth, Jesus Himself asked, prophetically:
“When the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?”
When Jesus uttered those words He was looking into the future—into our very present generation which He clearly foresaw. And, foreseeing the almost total absence of faith in our time, He asked this question!
Certainly the world has almost lost sight of real faith. No wonder so few have any—no wonder so many say, “My faith isn’t very strong”—or, “I just can’t seem to work up the faith.” People today do not know what faith is, or why they do not possess it. Yet without faith none can even be saved!
Where did the Bible come from? Who authored it? How did we get it? Is it complete?
Many sincerely wonder: Do we have the entire Bible? Some feel that we cannot know. Is there any way to prove this?
The answer to both questions is “yes!”
Consider for a moment. Are you able to preserve important financial papers that you need to keep? Can families preserve treasured photographs, protected in an album? Are companies able to preserve records vital to their existence? Can the National Archives protect important documents and artifacts from America’s history? Is the Internet capable of preserving virtually EVERYTHING?

Easter is a day that is honered by nearly all of contemporary Christianity
and is used to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The holiday often involves a church service at sunrise, a feast which
includes an "Easter Ham", decorated eggs and stories about rabbits.
Those who love truth learn to ask questions, and many questions must
be asked regarding the holiday of Easter.

Good Friday is the Friday immediately preceding Easter Sunday, as followed by most mainstream Christian churches. It is celebrated traditionally as the day on which Jesus was crucified, yet the Bible never mentions the day "Friday" as the actual day Christ died, it was inferred by early Catholic church leaders almost 300 years after Christ's death on the stake. If you are interested in a study of the issue, please see our article on SUNDAY that discusses the various views on which day Jesus was crucified. Assuming that Jesus was crucified and died on a Friday, modern churches follow this day (TODAY) as the day Jesus died.
The Bible does not instruct Christians to remember Good Friday or Easter for that matter, the holiday that the early church followed was Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread.
Why is Good Friday referred to as “good”? What the Jewish authorities and Romans did to Jesus was definitely not good (see Matthew chapters 26-27). However, as church theolgians say today is that the results of Christ’s death "are very good!" Romans 5:8, “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” First Peter 3:18 tells us, “For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit.”
Many Christian churches celebrate Good Friday with a subdued service, usually in the evening, in which Christ’s death is remembered with solemn hymns, prayers of thanksgiving, a message centered on Christ suffering for our sakes, and observance of the Lord's Supper. Whether or not Christians choose to “celebrate” Good Friday, the events of that day should be ever on our minds because the death of Christ on the cross is the paramount event of the Christian faith.
If you follow today as Good Friday, be aware of the Biblical account but most importantly remember that on a day in history, GOD DIED FOR YOUR SINS! That knowledge and a humble and contrite heart will bring you a long way on the path to your salvation........

Mark Johnson, in only his second race in the Klingspor/RaceRap.Com Super Truck drove on to his first victory of the year in the Johnny James owned and prepared race track. In his first outing, Johnson finished an impressive second. Mark, won the pole, but on the fits lap the #68 of Michael Cooper shot passed Johnson to take the first spot in the 35-lap event. For the second week the Bad Boy Mower Super Trucks lived up to their name and put on what many said was the most exiting race in recent memory at the famed Hickory Motor Speedway. Johnson said, "It was the most exiting race I have ever raced in, and I'm not exaggerating one bit!"
Johnson stayed on the bumper of Cooper for the first portion of the race, until lap 14 when the two were heading out of turn four when Johnson ducked under Cooper to regain the top spot. The #69 of Trevor Hignutt spent the first 25 laps ridding around, then with ten to go Hignutt began to make his move on Johnson and Cooper. With the help of lap traffic Hignutt was able to sail past Cooper for second. With three laps remaining, Hignutt squeezed his way into the top spot, but Johnson wasn’t going to let the position go that easily as he jumped back out to the front.
Jesus died and rose from the grave. This you already know is one of the central themes of the New Testament.
for hundreds of years, many have either assumed or been told that Jesus
died on a Friday afternoon, was placed in a tomb Friday evening and
then was resurrected sometime around sunrise a day and a half later on
But you may be surprised about what the Bible actually says concerning the timetable of these important events.
Kovacs, a staunch defender of the Holy Bible, probes the day Jesus
really died and the day He actually rose from the grave, all based on
what the Bible itself has to say, not what centuries of misinformation
and man-made tradition have led millions to believe.
Gospel of Matthew, Jesus Himself said He would be in the grave for
'three days and three nights,'" Kovacs explains. "And in the Gospel of
Mark, Jesus taught his disciples that He would rise from the grave
'after three days.' Even a child could tell you that between Friday
evening and sunrise Sunday morning, you cannot count 'three days and
three nights,' as well as 'after three days.'"
Many people also assume Jesus died on a Friday, because the Bible says the Savior died on a day before the Sabbath.
With their racing budgets deemed “unnecessary expenditures,” GM and Chrysler are ordered to cease racing operations at the end of the season.
BY JARED GALL, ILLUSTRATION BY ERIC WOODWARD April 2009
In a move sure to spark outrage, the White House announced today that GM and Chrysler must cease participation in NASCAR at the end of the 2009 season if they hope to receive any additional financial aid from the government. Companies around the globe—Honda and Audi, to name two—have drawn down racing operations, and NASCAR itself has already felt the pinch in the form of reduced team spending. A complete withdrawal from America’s premier racing series is expected to save more than $250 million between GM and Chrysler, a substantial amount considering the drastic measures being implemented elsewhere.
